THE
SOZOPOL RESTAURANT IS AN OLD HARBOUR FOR THE CULINARY ESTHETE
The “Kirik” Restaurant was named
after the Island of the same name. It is situated right opposite the marine
base
in Sozopol. Under the big fig tree, on a cozy summer balcony with a
panoramic view, the lovers of fresh and deliciously cooked fish find
themselves right in the world of their dreams come true. The only problem
is finding yourself a place - there are vacant chairs only at night.
You can start from the very beginning
with our famous marinated
fish,
which melts into your mouth and asks for another ouzo.
The same effect can be achieved by means of the roasted
mackerel with lemon and fennel or
the octopus
salad. Or with the home-made white
roe-spread. Unlike in other restaurants, the staff of
the KIRIK would not frown at you if you order toasts. For the more
orthodox customers, we recommend the tsaganaki
clams
after the appetizer.
They are pleasantly piquant and
go well with a light rosé.
Choosing your lunch or dinner is
a real trial - shall you have a turbot
or fried
red mullet. Or maybe grilled
garfish... Or something more traditional - bluefish,
scad or gobies... Whatever you
have, you won't regret your choice. All food is
freshly prepared! We offer skourdalya
with each fish dish. That is a mixture by a
secret recipe, and the fish is not the same without it.
The summer never ends in the “Kirik”
because the restaurant works all the year round. So, if you want to
remember the warm summer evenings, you can also come in the winter.
Welcome!
